THE National Vegetable Extension Network’s North and Far North Queensland project was launched at Molongle Creek, Gumlu, recently.
The Bowen Gumlu Growers Association launched the program which will be delivered via vegetable levy funds from Horticulture Innovation Australia (HIA).
Fellow event hosts, Growcom, took the opportunity to announce its new Hort360 Innovation Coach program to 40 growers and industry stakeholders.
The launch was followed by a Growers Social Evening at the Burdekin Theatre in Ayr, to celebrate local produce and the new services available to veg producers across the region.
This event was hosted by the Burdekin Shire Council, Bowen Gumlu Growers Association and Growcom.
