THE state’s horticulture industry was out in force at this year’s Royal Adelaide Show, as producers showcased their wares and healthy treats were given out as part of the Yellow Brick Road.
Market Fresh SA marketing, events and promotions coordinator Nadia Boscaini said it was a valuable opportunity to promote fresh produce consumption.
“We want to raise awareness about the industry and how easy it is to shop local and enjoy local produce,” she said.
SA Produce Market chief executive officer Angelo Demasi said the horticulture industry had a fantastic presence at the show. “Hopefully this will continue so we have as many people as possible eating fresh fruit and vegetables,” he said.
