ATTENDEES at this year’s Protected Cropping Australia Conference in Adelaide got to inspect one of the country’s longest standing hydroponic producers.
A farm tour on the final day of the conference went to P’Petual on the North Adelaide plains.
Growing a variety of crops under plastic, the business has invested in a 2ha modern glass facility delivered by Apex-Brinkman.
The glasshouse features diffused glass and C02 injection. P’petual is a long time supporter of PCA.
P’Petual produces tomatoes, cucumbers and eggplants.
The business was established in September 1998 and is regarded as an industry pioneer in greenhouse farming in Australia.
