AUSTRALIA’S horticulture community came together to celebrate its top achievers at the Hort Connections 2018 Awards for Excellence Gala Dinner in Brisbane last month.
About 1300 attendees from every sector of Australian horticulture went to the event held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre and rounded off two full days of information sessions.
Ausveg chief executive officer, James Whiteside, said the the Awards for Excellence were a rare chance for the industry to come together.

“Everyone who was nominated for an award this year has demonstrated their commitment to the industry and has made a valuable contribution to its ongoing growth and success,” Mr Whiteside said.
Nearly 3000 local and international delegates converged for the three-day event, which featured a trade show with around 200 local and global supply chain partners and presentations from the industry’s leading thinkers.
