SYDNEY Markets has given $50,000 to the Fighting for Our Farmers Drought Relief Appeal.
Sydney Markets is supplied by more than 20,000 local and interstate growers.
Sydney Markets chief executive officer, Brad Latham, said the donation was made on behalf of the entire Sydney Markets community.
“These funds will provide welcome relief to those who are doing it tough as a result of these devastating drought conditions,” Mr Latham said.

Across Australia thousands of farmers and their families are enduring some of the worst drought conditions seen in many years. It has now been confirmed that 100 per cent of NSW is in drought.
The appeal has raised more than $7.3 million which will be administered by Rotary Australia and distributed to farmers in need with the help of the National Farmers’ Federation.
