WESTERN Australian vegetable growers took time out last month to come up to speed with the latest issues and research information at the vegetablesWA Vegetable Industry Industry Summit and Grower Tour at Perth.
Held across two days, including farm tours, the event brought together industry groups alongside growers and business representatives.
The gathering provided the ideal opportunity for the first HortConnectWA event as well, with a brunch held to a full house at the Crown.
Topics covered across the two days included soil health, precision agriculture, integrated crop protection, water use efficiency, food innovation and engineering.
