WOMEN working within the horticulture industry will be celebrated at this year's Hort Connections 2019 conference at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition centre next month.
The Women in Horticulture event, sponsored by Boomaroo Nurseries, will take place at 2.30pm on Wednesday, June 26, providing a chance to reflect on and celebrate the achievements of women within the horticulture industry.
Attendees for this year's event will celebrate the nominees of the 2019 Boomaroo Nurseries Women in Horticulture Award and support Share the Dignity, a charity that provides sanitary products to women and transgender people who are in a crisis or homeless, allowing them a sense of dignity when they need it most.
