This includes things like spray diary, labour management, crop forecasting, fresh produce storage monitoring, weather forecasting and disease modelling.
Its Smart Dashboard centralises all of a farmer's agribusiness data in one place and provides real time information.
Using a full suite of modules, the cloud-based farm management software can be tailored to help plan, manage, forecast and budget harvests, from planting to packing.
The basis of the company is its ability to use information gathered from in-field day to day field workers' operation (app and tablets, using mainly QR barcodes and RFID technology) and sensors to keep the farmer up to speed and therefore able to make more informed decisions.
The use of data collected from modules like the spray diary, labour management (what was picked and by whom for example), packing shed management modules and remote sensing enables in-depth analysis of field conditions.
According to company founder, Roei Yaakobi , horticulture has the potential to embrace better data flow.
"We see the horticultural sector as being essential to the region's present and future and believe that new technology and efficient management can jump-start a business and put it firmly in the 21st century, helping with regulation like audits for Global Gap and Freshcare, and export," Mr Yaakobi said.
As a special offer at Hort Connections 2019, the first 10 people to sign up to a free one-year Spray Diary subscription will receive a complimentary weather station.
