Central markets show off diversity at Hort Connections 2019

The Melbourne Market was right in the thick of this trade show through wholesaler displays in the FMA/CMAA booth which had the largest presence on the trade show floor.

The event, held at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, greeted delegates with a great variety of produce from those exhibiting in the section of the trade show.

There was tropical fruit, lesser known vegetables, classic produce staples, and even a stunning floral display.

With so many things to see, the wholesalers received a great reception from those attending the trade show and it was very clear that the Australia's Fresh Produce Market display was the place to be.

A special mention has to go to the displays of Arcella Bananas.

The company delighted the delegates by giving out its famous Tropicana Bananas to help fuel them through their long days.

Thanks also went to Robinsons Fresh Solutions, which took its stand to the next level by making an interactive area full of information about their different services that also featured a wheel that could be spun to win a prize.

Those that didn't take up the offer to exhibit at this year's Hort Connections, missed out.

Fresh State and FMA thanked Tailored Freight for organising the transport of produce to the trade show.

They also thanked Perfection Fresh which allowed consolidation and storage, and CHEP, which provided bins and crates that created the structure for the wholesalers' displays.

Special thanks was also given to trade partner Toyota Material Handling and to the exhibitors for their contributions.
