ALL wineries, cellar doors and restaurants located at wineries across the state are to close under the latest directive from the State Coordinator, to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.
Wineries that sell food commercially to supermarkets and retail stores are still permitted to produce and sell products, but food products must be transported to retail outlets by commercial freight or the winery itself.
Wineries can also continue to sell alcohol via online or phone purchases, again provided that they are delivered by commercial freight or the winery themselves.

SA Police Commissioner, Grant Stevens, said this directive, which comes into place from midnight tonight, was in response to a COVID-19 outbreak in the Barossa Valley.
He said it was clear wineries could pose as a key transmission site, as has been the case.
"We're trying to prevent what's happened in the Barossa happening elsewhere," he said.
He said it would also cut down on the amount of discretionary driving that was occurring.
Commissioner Stevens also urged people, with the Easter holiday period approaching, not to visit peak tourism regions.
"Wineries are major tourist attractions and as a holiday period approaches, travel to wine regions is discouraged in order to protect these areas from a potential influx of tourists and spread of COVID-19," a SAPOL statement said.
