Wymah Certified Organic Kalamata Olives named Best Table Olive at Australian International Olive Awards

It won Best Table Olive in Show for its Wymah Certified Organic Kalamata Olives at the 2020 Australian International Olive Awards recently.

It also scored Champion Kalamata Olive, Best Australian Table Olive and Best Southern Hemisphere Table Olive.

Run by the Australian Olive Association, the annual Australian International Olive Awards were opened to international entries in 2017.

Chief steward Trudie Michels said the competition confirmed its global status with 40 judges in Australia, Spain, Italy, New Zealand, Tunisia and China.

"It was also great to see a continuing increase in entries from international producers, with entries coming from Tunisia, Italy, Spain, China, New Zealand and Australia," she said.

"We received 137 extra virgin olive oil entries, 23 flavoured oil entries and 46 table olive entries."

Wymah Organic Olives will have its award-winning olives at Albury Wodonga Farmers Market at Gateway Village today.

Almar Organics in South Albury also stocks them.
