ADELAIDE Hills’ brewing, cider, juice and distilling industries has received $400,000 from the state government to help to unlock economic growth in the region.
LOT 100 Beverage Collaborative will receive the funding as part of a $905,000 project to increase production capacity across craft spirits, beer and cider production, and optimise the facility for production, transport and distribution.
Minister for Primary Industries and Regional Development, Tim Whetstone, said the project was a boost for the Adelaide Hills, its growers and the craft beverage industry in the state.

“Craft beverages including beer, cider and spirits are popular among consumers and we are keen to support the development of this industry and help it expand," he said.
“The Adelaide Hills region will benefit from this expansion, with many of the collective, including growers, based in the region."
LOT 100 is a collective of SA beverage companies, with integrated supply chain and production partnerships and business collaborations that include marketing and branding.
Local Member for Kavel, Dan Cregan, said the upgrades would be a big boost for the region.
“The Adelaide Hills is famous for its food and beverage sector. This investment will ensure continued expansion in brewing, cider, juice and distilling industries with very significant local economic benefits," Mr Cregan said.
“There is a huge market for quality products in these sectors and our local products are truly world class.”
