A TOUCH of Hollywood will again be at the Good Fruit & Vegetables trade show stand at this year's Hort Connections.
Australia's very own Thor, Chris Hemsworth (at least, a cardboard cut-out) will be ready to pose for photographs with guests who swing by the stand.
While at the stand, visitors may wish to peruse a copy of Good Fruit & Vegetables, take out a subscription, or grab a free sponge-front truckers cap, pen and cheeky "Honk if you're horti" bumper sticker .
Delegates can also sign up for the free weekly digital newsletter which provides a selection of headlines from the major horticulture stories from throughout the week, delivered straight into their inbox each Thursday morning.
And if that's not enough temptation, then perhaps a complementary lolly may just seal the deal.
Visitors can also submit story ideas, provide feedback on areas of interest they'd like to see given more coverage or just have a yarn with the staff.
For more than 30 years, GFV has been informing the Australian horticulture industry.
Recently it launched a new faster and revamped website to provide all the industry's horticulture news in an easier-to-read layout.
Good Fruit & Vegetables is an official media partner to Hort Connections having reported on the conference since its inception.
The publication will again be providing a full wrap-up on the event through articles, photos, galleries, videos and a social media presence.
Editor Ashley Walmsley said Hort Connections had become such a popular event for the horticulture industry it was important to be there.
"Not only does it present the opportunity to hear from world-class speakers and see the latest technology, it gives a platform to catch up with mates and make some new ones," Mr Walmsley said.
"The GFV team loves getting along to HortCon. It's terrific to have Hemsy (Chris Hemsworth) with us again, even though he's as stiff as ever.
"Don't let that stop you from grabbing a selfie with the cardboard equivalent of Thor though."
