Riverland fruit fly outbreak grows

HARD KNOCK: Citrus SA chair Mark Doecke says fruit growers could face losses upwards of $150 per tonne due to chemical dips and export restrictions, following 11 fruit fly detections in the Riverland in recent months.

THE Riverland fruit industry has been dealt another blow, with a further fruit fly outbreak declared last week.
