NCS Australia national dynamics solution manager Terence Ryan said FreshFocus was the solution that bridged the gap between technology and the fresh food industry.
"It empowers businesses with real-time data, streamlined operations, enhanced traceability, and improved financial management," he said.
"Using the FreshFocus platform, horticulturalists can tap into the Microsoft ecosystem to easily expand current business central functionality, leverage the full dynamics suite - office, teams, sharepoint and power apps, enable flexible inclusions of core fresh food and customer specific functionality, utilise off-the-shelf third-party extension apps.
"All horticultural industries and any fresh produce commodity where tracking and lot tracing is required will be able to use FreshFocus to streamline their operations, improve efficiency, enhance traceability and support sustainability efforts.

"Developed on the Microsoft platform, FreshFocus revolutionises how businesses in the fresh food industry move, track, and trace products, ensuring quick, efficient, transparent, and accurate operations to help address the unique challenges growers, farmers, suppliers, and distributors face."
He said many growers were technically savvy in the paddock but were let down by the technology they used to manage their businesses behind the scenes.
"We built FreshFocus to simplify operations, provide comprehensive functionality, and empower businesses to thrive," he said.
Developed in collaboration with industry leaders and a dedicated internal team of IT specialists at NCS Australia, FreshFocus addresses the problem of siloed systems within this sector, along with the complexity and lack of mobility hindering fresh food producers from having access to accurate, real-time data when needed.
The technology aims to streamline operations, enhance traceability, and empower businesses to thrive in an increasingly competitive market.

Through integration and data exchange capabilities, end-to-end tracking of produce, and a farm accounting module for real-time resource allocation and cost management, FreshFocus delivers efficiency and transparency.
NCS Australia dynamics solutions architect Francois Viljoen said they had collaborated with industry leaders and leveraged their insider industry network to create a solution that manages the complex industry simply and intuitively.
"FreshFocus will be the solution that delivers the efficiencies that this industry sector requires," he said.
FreshFocus will be available in early 2024, replacing or enhancing existing solutions currently supported by NCS Australia.
