With a theme of "export and trade" calendar was officially launched at NAB Place in Sydney last November where more than 90 people attended, including many of the customers featured in the calendar.

- Yum Tasmanian, Tasmania.
NAB executive for regional and agribusiness, Khan Horne, said the calendar features 13 businesses from throughout regional and rural Australia who are working to capitalise on domestic and international market opportunities.
"The 2024 calendar celebrates some of our highly innovative regional and agribusiness customers who are exporting homegrown foods, fibres, beverages, ideas and expertise to every corner of the world," Mr Horne said.
"Their experiences are reflected in a customer insight survey NAB recently conducted with our bankers, trade and working, and markets specialists to gather insights on their export and trade customers' top challenges and opportunities.

"The survey revealed key challenges include higher interest rates, volatility in the Australian dollar (AUD), margin pressures and managing costs.
"At the same time, our customers are enthusiastic about expanding or diversifying into new markets and seeking avenues for business growth supported by additional working capital.
"Exporters are also taking advantage of a more competitive landscape.
"This cohort of customers are proactively reaching out for robust hedging strategies to manage foreign exchange risk, looking for cost efficiencies, negotiating better contracts or seeking higher margin markets or products.
"They're also prioritising investments and innovations in smarter customer service, products, and thinking to help set their brand apart, and give them a competitive edge at market."
