THE peak body representing Australia's hydroponic, greenhouse and glasshouse growers has celebrated its 30th anniversary.
Protected Cropping Australia marked its anniversary in late November last year with members gathering in Melbourne for a dinner.
They also took part in the Grower Innovation Day at Chisholm Institute, Cranbourne.
The initial body, the Australian Hydroponic Association was incorporated in NSW in September 1989 with Rick Donnan as president and Greg Seymour as secretary.

In 1993, the AHA committee decided to change the association's name to Australian Hydroponic and Greenhouse Association Incorporated (AHGA) to more accurately reflect the interests of the organisation.
AHGA officially became Protected Cropping Australia in 2011 although the new logo was adopted in 2010.
AHGA and subsequently PCA has hosted conferences every odd year since with the 15th conference held in July 2019 on the Gold Coast.
The next PCA conference will be held in 2021.
